Connect your Telegram account once in Settings → Connections, then in any chat type @vidsandgifsbot followed by a search term. Telegram's native inline picker pops up a grid of GIFs from your active folder — tap one and it sends instantly. The picker only ever searches inside the folder you've marked active, so you don't have to scroll past the public library to find your own reaction set. Forwarding any GIF to the bot adds it to that same folder, so your library grows from inside the chat.

Add the vids&gifs Discord bot to your server (or use it in a DM), connect your account in Settings → Connections, and type /gif. Discord's slash-command autocomplete shows GIFs from your active folder as you type — pick one and the bot posts it to the channel. Unlike a video, a GIF plays automatically, has no sound, and uses a palette of up to 256 colors per frame. On vids&gifs you can upload an existing .gif file or generate one from any video you've uploaded.

vids&gifs accepts the four most common video container formats: MP4 (.mp4), QuickTime (.mov), WebM (.webm) and Matroska (.mkv). The maximum file size is 1.5 GB, and uploads above 300 MB are automatically re-encoded to 480p so they stream quickly to viewers. Files are validated by their magic bytes, not just the extension, so a renamed file won't slip through. Videos are private by default — you choose whether to share them publicly when you upload.

Open the upload dialog on the GIFs page, choose your .gif file, and switch the "Save as" option from GIF to MP4.
